INTRAMURALS 2023

Intramurals are a great way to increase student engagement by providing students with opportunities to interact socially with their peers, which fosters a sense of belonging, positive mental health, and greater engagement in both academic and non-academic activities.

Day 1

Today is the start of intramurals. All the students were excited for this and the first thing we did was do zumba. And to officially start the intramural by lighting the torch that symbolizes peace and unity throughout the Intramurals. Then they raised the ISU flag followed by the flags of different departments. Just a few minutes later, we went to the gymnasium to support our team in the bench cheering competition. When it started, the entire gymnasium was filled with shouts and applause because of the skill and talent shown by each participant.

Day 2

On the second day we walked from ISU to the Calabayan Minanga court to support and cheer our basketball players. At noon, we supported our volleyball player and I was amazed because of the skill they showed in playing and I could see from them that they were enjoying themselves and that was the most important thing.

Day 3

This is the last day of intramurals and this is the day when the search for Mr ang ms ISU-AC 2023 will be held. Everyone is excited for this. At the beginning of the pageant, the whole gymnasium was filled with cheers from different departments. This is their way to show their support to their candidates. I was amazed at how beautiful they were at rapping and they kept their poise until the end. The battle here is not just about beauty, but about the ability to answer. They all deserve to win but in the end only two will be chosen as Mr and Ms ISU-AC.

Intramural is one of the highlights in a student’s collage life and I must say that even if I am not a player I still enjoyed this three day activity . I enjoyed cheering for our department and I am proud of them.
